    Hey guys,

As I mentioned in a previous thread, I was greatly considering quitting my part-time writing job at an expensive resume writing service to start my own company. After some careful planning, I took the leap. It's been much more difficult than I anticipated, but I'm determined to make it work. My service offers resumes that are specifically branded in a much more personalized method than your average plug-into-a-fancy-format-resume-service. On top of that, I'm also offering a specialty resume product to a job niche that is well searched in google, but has very low competition.

Let's get right to it: Aside from buying an SEO package from a well-reviewed BHW user, how can I drive traffic to my site? I've seen a lot of users buying and selling resumes and job seeker leads and I was thinking about maybe going that route. Then again, it would probably be more beneficial to me if I found someone willing to contact the leads in exchange for a percentage of each sale they bring in.

If you have any ideas or are willing to help, please share!

    Thanks,
    Jesse

Are you on twitter? You could do a Tweet of the day type thing. Make sure you're on LinkedIn. Here you may want to invest in some ads targeted to your niche (i know...not creative). Try a Top 10 Reasons Your [insert niche] resume sucks Infographic.

Try banner add's. Approach consultancy's and buy email leads, blast them with your product.

The best and perhaps fastest way to get direct clients is to offer your service in freelancing sites like Fiverr or Elance perhaps. You may also use social media sites to promote your business. Try to target your market when promoting in Twitter or Facebook. DO NOT SPAM

Also, it is best if you extablish a blog page to your site as well. This way, you are providing tips and also doing good onsite optimization for your chosen keywords.

    Good luck!

I would recommend purchasing a few licenses from graphicriver.net: http://graphicriver.net/search?utf8=✓&term=resume
Use social media to promote a free resume writing + design service free of charge in exchange for likes / shares / tweets, whatever you think works best.

Something to keep in mind, you can ALWAYS upsell you customers on a premium design. Just plug in the information you have written into the template and charge premium.

Anyways, I personally used one of the templates from that site to get my job, so its worth taking a look at. Another premium service could be building resume websites: http://themeforest.net/search?utf8=✓&term=resume
