I don't usually care much for the rubbish on 9gag, but after someone shared this on Facebook, it got me thinking. I'm a firm believer that a little creativity in terms of marketing is always a good thing, and may just give you that edge you need to convince a client to buy your stuff.

I'd be interested to hear of any success anyone has had doing something similar with their business cards.

My friend owned an automotive shop and his business cards where shaped like little cars,,, it seemed to catch on pretty well. people liked them.

Some very cool ideas there.

These are ingenious thanks for posting this, need to find somewhere in uk that can do these sort of cards..although the dried meat card was way over the top lol something lady gaga would love ha.

I always appreciate creativity and there are some great examples here.

Whilst I don't think a creative business card will necessarily lead to a sale directly, I do think it will indirectly lead to more business.

If someone gave me one of these cards at a meeting or conference, there are two things that will happen for sure.

1. I will keep the card - and it will stay in my wallet a lot longer than usual before it gets filed with all the other cards I have.

2. I am going to show the card to other people. And there are going to be times when those other people are in need of the service on the card.

If I had a card along these lines I would give them to people in 2s or 3s as they are very likely to be passed along to more people.

I think they are great marketing tools!

Yeah exactly. They almost have a viral factor about them. They give you something to talk about.
