I've been gathering a list of prospective clients and I want to send them an email with a link to a youtube video... A link to my site and services will be placed within the video and description of the unlisted-video.

That's where the local library comes into play... free wifi!

So, if I was to send out 1,000+ emails would it be wise to do it with a url shortener and new gmail account? I don't want to use the email account hooked up to the domain name since these emails weren't "opted-in." Do you think they will also look at the youtube account I'm sending all the recipients to?

What do you guys think? :loco:

You would be using one IP though, send very slow and read a long book. Gmail does not pass along the sender IP if you use webmail. Main thing is to not get blocked by gmail from sending. Haven't tried any of that in ages so just give it a shot. Can always find another open WiFi if that's your only option. I wouldn't worry too much about the complaints, you are not sending enough mails to matter. Well unless you included some nasty email addresses in your list.

I was planning on sending out batches of 100 emails/contacts?

Would that be too much? 100 then 15 minute break?
