So i recently created a fb page for a high ranking politician who had no facebook presence - no fan pages, no groups, and no official page.

i created a fan page called "NAME supporters" and it started to get some organic likes and engagement. Facebook then asked me if i want to create another page for this politician, using just his name! so i did, and it also started to get some organic engagement.
but then people started messaging the page and asking for favors and sending ideas, thinking that this page is the real politician.

can i get in trouble for maintaining this page? any legal problems? or should i delete it? or just rename it from NAME to NAME Fan Club or something (even though i already have the NAME Supporters page).

    Thanks

Don't think you could get in any trouble as you are not a verified profile. So many fake profiles on Facebook

Yeah, this is an interesting thread I'd like to see some more replies to...
Always wondered the same, how celebs would react to their name online or fan-clubs.
    It's different, has to be.

You won't really get into trouble but if they think your page could threaten this politicians public image in anyway shape or form then they can claim it and it would turn into a community page
