I am looking to spend $500 total (to start off) a niche site. I already have the niche idea, keyword domain, and keyword list. I have a freelancer that will be building the site on wordpress fully custom as well as doing seo, backlinks, article submission, plugins, and written quality keyword articles. After that I will have $200 left.

I'm wondering what else I should use this $200 on to help the site, no ppc, I just want natural seo & article traffic. I was thinking about buying a quality backlink service as well as a few more very well written articles. What are your ideas on this?

I know some are going to say just build the website yourself and save the $300 but I want to learn how it was build and everything done with it, then from there I will create other niche sites on my own (I have experience but would like to see how professionals do it). Any ideas of where to spend that extra $200 would be great.

    Articles
    Press Releases
    Forums (use your Sig)
    Blogs

**Make sure they are as relevant as possible
**Use Market Samurai PR and Anchor Text Analysis modules to see where your competition is getting their links from.

$200 is not a big budget so you will have to do a lot of the work yourself. You can get a good amount of Articles and Press Releases done and submitted to quality directories for that. the rest will be a lot of leg work on your part.

I've never really understood the reason of making a press release? Does it go on my site or get submitted somewhere, and what benefits does it have for a niche site?

$200. Get a bunch of new niches or sites to spread your niches out. And outsource the writing. Imo, 1 niche is not enough. You should definitely get into more niches.

$500 is more than enough! Article not the big problem because you can write it.,But "promoting" your BLOG is the very BIG BIG problem.

I've been seeing alot of people stop these xfactor type minisites cause adsense is banning them for not enough pages. I wanted to be sure I had enough good content on there to not get banned before creating another niche. For my future niches, I will definitely be designing everything myself so really I'll only have to buy the backlinks/articles and any other seo.

I heard its about 10 or so pages to not look like an "xfactor" minisite, is this about right?

Thanks for the help everybody! :D

You need some tools. So I would recommend TBS, some bookmarking tool and SB. So this way you will make yourself the articles with TBS, bookmark them and blast all the articles with SB. After a couple of months of good work you should see the results. And my advice is not to go for a niche with less searches and no competition. Go for a medium one and go for a bigger site with many pages. Where is a little competition there are the $$$ for sure. And with some work you definitely would take your share ;) my 2c

You paid too much for the development of the site.Like 10 times more than the normal market price. Other than that, you are on the right path. If your niche is not too commercial you can have your new site listed in google news within a month. From there, it's just easy.

Well I haven't purchased it yet, I just have an idea of who I want to work with and their price. Since I'm new to doing SEO and building Wordpress niche sites, I would prefer paying somebody to do my first one then learn how it was done so I can create my own.
