Have some good ideas in mind for the product review channel but the biggest roadblock here is creating the videos with a real product.
I might sound stupid but yeah I want to create a youtube channel but can't review the actual product in front of the camera (There are various reasons for this).

So, I am trying to adapt a theme (2D or whiteboard animation) to solve this problem. But I am not sure how effective it will be.
My main target is to provide the interesting and informative video, I don't care if it convinces the viewer to buy it or not, It just needs to be worthy of watching.
The video will be based on the review from the actual user of that particular product (no fake review articles).

Currently, all I can think of is 2D or whiteboard animation. If you have something different or any kind of suggestion to make it better, please reply.

I got the idea of animation from this channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCir93b_ftqInEaDpsWYbo_g

In My opinion best would be to go with 2D Animation, Whiteboard wont look good for product review. But wait for other's reviews also.

It's obvious that script makes it good but do you think it will be as good as real life video, presentation vice?

It depends on the products you want to review and how will go about it.

If you are showcasing the different physical features of a product (think laptop review) it will be radically different than explaining what it does (think software review). Give us a little more background and I'm sure you'll get better answers.

I've done quite a few Whiteboard and 2D animated videos (both using software) so if you want some tool ideas and recommendations, let me know.

Not going to make obvious review video like most of the time you see in review articles. They will be straight to the point discussing what people should and want to know. It will contain the personal experience of the product owner. The video should sound like a personal story and not an ad.
I have got some people on board for script writing, voice over and animation.I told them to come with a script based on my requirements, yet to decide between 2D and whiteboard. But not sure if they can do it since they use to make ads video all the time.

If it needs to be more of a story, my vote goes definitely towards Whiteboard. It is much more story-like than 2D animation. I've used something called Videoscribe to create whiteboard videos and it's pretty cool and easy to use once you get the hang of it.
