    Hi guys.

I want to target different countries with my niche. I bought an .com domain and I think about how to rank it for different languages.
So what I thought of was:

    - creating different pages for every language.
    for example : niche.com = english, niche.com/fr = french niche.com/es = spanish etc.
and then making backlinks for every single page.

    - creating subdomains and translate all content in the different languages.
for example: es.niche.com = spanish etc.
then also creating backlinks for that domain.

    or

creating a one page website (with wordpress theme) and having all the different languages in one page.
(in the menu shows the different languages and when you click it slides down). and then just creating backlinks to the niche.com page.

    which one works best?

For both backlinking and content management, you will be better off using the dropdown menu option. Then you just have language files/tables that tell the system which content to use depending on which language is in use.

yes there is. I believe its called WPML plugin. Your theme has to be compatible with it though.

I dont think it will redirect them based on location. That's going to require more coding on the server side.

you could buy a bunch of domains like niche.com niche.es niche.ru etc and since the content is all translated it wont appear as duplicate content
