How would i go about creating a list of Millions of keywords with stats like searches/month...competition....CPC etc..etc..

Basically, i want to have a database like IMEye has, consisting of 1 - 3 Million keywords which can be sorted and filtered in any way possible.

Let's hear your ideas....could be interesting...

If you're wanting to create a gigantic database then I assuming you have some programming proficiency. If so, you may want to check out Google's AdWords API functions, such as:

You can use the Google API with PHP and MySQL, but you'll pay an arm and a leg.

A good Keyword Research tool will have an API for data mining.

I use the one in my Sig, they scrape the Adwords API for traffic data, and screen scrape for Index Results pretty much every month. They have AdWords Competitor Data, and historical data.

I found them by way of doing Click Bank research, alot of the CB sites use them to show what keywords a product is ranking for or bidding on.

Once you've got an account, just set up a MySQL Table, script your PHP Front End, and go to town. Using the ORDER BY statement, you can sort your table any which way :D

While it is a bit cheaper than Google's api, the problem is that you're limited to a certain number of queries per day.

Thus, if you have a very large list of keywords to check you'd never get through all of em.

I agree with you on that. I use CRONs to automate that stuff though, so I don't much care if it takes more than a day.

There's no tool for sale that I've ever seen that can do keyword research on that scale. Most keyword tools choke at tens of thousands and aren't designed for batch automation.

I wrote my own tool that is currently able to suck in stats on around 12,000 keywords a minute without using Googl's API. It also does in depth competition and commercial value research for each word. Took some good work but it's worth it. Stuff like Keyword Elite and Market Samurai are ok for brainstorming ideas manually and compiling small lists but if you want to do large scale research, gotta write your own or get someone else to do it.
