Which innocent sites were hit? Couldnt find any legit white hat sites that were hit. Hopefully this is true because this will mean some algo adjustmentsThere is a chance it could recover. I don't think the update is yet done, the aholes at Google are probably reading this thread and enjoying the panic. Don't give these **** the satisfaction and just wait. Huge innocent sites have gotten affected so it stands to reason they will reverse this crap soon

My niche, by nature, has a high bounce rate. People simply get the answers they need and get out.
You are not going to believe this but one of my site which is totally legit and i have not added a single PBN link to it is affected.
BUT my PBN powered site is improving in rankings except for just one page! It doesn't make any sense, the sites i've setup are worst and i haven't put any effort into it.
I believe most people that got affected by it are innocent and probably haven't done any blackhat. Read this thread and you will find various people saying their legit sites have been affected.
15 years old 0 link building legit company - thats what I call whitehat I bet google calls it whitehat too - losing 70% traffic in one night.I think the people here, you and google all have very different ideas what "legit sites" are. Whatever the fuck that means.
No huge drops for my websites in French, but still seeing some movements over the past few days. Something must be going on there too.Are also non English sites affected?

My site picked up dramatically after the Feb. 8th Phantom update (I think that's the name). It increased in traffic by about 400%, then got hit hard on the March 8th Fred update. Since then, it's been super steady at about 1,400 visitors/day (down from 4,200 visitors/day). Site info:
