This is for a brand new post on a not very old website.
It crawled faster than any other post, but it's not indexed. Should I just wait?

I did manually request indexing.

yeah, wait for a little while (1-2 weeks). If it's still not indexed after 2 weeks you can try force-indexing, but it's still not guaranteed to work as google refuses to index new stuff quite a lot these days

What's this?
I mean, spam the crawling until google indexes your page. It's what all these indexing services do: they put your links on pages / websites with high crawling rate and hope that the googlebot indexes your links. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't (more recently it doesn't work well, though).

Basically, by force-indexing I mean get some backlinks to your links (preferably backlinks from sites / pages that google crawls a lot and which they trust)

It's live now!
I think it's my record time for getting a post indexed - 4 hours for website in it's second month, with a fresh new domain.

Yes, no need to panic, google will eventually find your site and index you. Eventually happens quite frequently and quickly with computers too.
I don't submit any sites to google webmaster, and don't have any issues indexing. Just leaving the site to get picked up by nosey googlebot is enough.
