I'm going on the premise that the traffic is targeted here. If you are selling an ebook and you are getting traffic but no sales, it usually means you copy on the site is weak.

You want to presell them on the site with strong compelling sales copy; no compelling sales copy typically = no sales.

edit: I believe I just saw your site, not enough of a call to action there... I didn't read the copy as I don't read that kind of stuff but I know you need to up your CTA as it is on the bottom of the page and only in there once each page with the exception of one page.

Copy is everything. You can't expect to sell anything without strong copywriting.

You have to make your leads WANT what you're offering. Tease them, draw them in, PERSUADE them into making that purchase.

Selling is all about toying with a customer's psyche'; make sure you learn the art of copywriting and revise your site's entire content. If it's too much work for you, just outsource. Find a good one though.

    Good luck!

Would you buy anything from a crappy site, even if you were specially invited and lead to that (crappy) site? I wouldn't... :)

Targeted traffic is nothing, generally, if the site's look and content doesn't attract the visitor - to read the content, to stay on it, or if it doesn't gives him sufficient reason to come back to it again. Who would love to see in inside of, or to stay a second more at, or even trade at a [email protected] store?

You are lucky if a friend gave you such a site, even if it is crappy at the moment. Some people spend months to write a single e-book, or to get to 100 unique visitors/day - you got it for free :).

That being said, you should make your best out of this opportunity... Good advice was already given by other members, but surely, do not abandon the site!

Have a look at other sites that have good skills at persuading buyers and analyze their techniques. Don't give up!
