Will I be flagged if I put a link to a website which redirects to an amazon product in a craigslist ad?

depends on people actually flagging your post, also you might try bouncing the craigslist ad link from a free .tk domain name to the amazon page so your amazon account will never be affected by any problems craigslist may give you.

Easy way to white-hat this one, probably increasing conversion while you're at it:

Do a thin affiliate page... like the good old days with just a short blurb saying XXX product is great and click HERE for the best price. You don't even have to say it's @ amazon.com, they can discover that after they've already clicked thru and got your tagged cookie.

"Don't thin affiliate pages suck now?"

In recent years, they've been hit hard in google, both for adwords and adsense. But this isn't Google, it's CL. Thin pages will keep you out of trouble with Amazon and the CL staff altogether.

Now, whether CL users like your ad and convert (or hate it and flag it) is all dependent on your sales copy in both the CL post and the blurb posted on your website.

But that's another issue, I believe that as far as the rules go, you can do:

CL post --> your website --> product's Amazon page

P.S. If you want to throw a little sneaky black-hat in, try adding a meta redirect, but not at 0, set a higher number like 30 or 60 seconds. It will only affect ~10-20% of the traffic, but it's a little boost that shouldn't annoy the CL users, and might not be noticed by any reviewers... not that I do this, of course.
