Craigslist : Something wrong with it today?

I was just posting on craigslist a few hours ago (just like how I do it daily). However, today is a little strange. I realized that my ads APPEARS on the category that I am posting on (For sale). However, when I tried to search my ad through the search, I couldn't find. It seems that it didnt get indexed in the search results or something.

Is this something new proposed by Craigslist starting today??

Please advise.

Sounds like its been ghosted? Are you posting the exact same add all the time? usually if you check the source and see

its ok, if not it means its ghosted and wont show up. Try changing the add,ip,gmail/cl account etc etc

Thanks for your reply.

But if its ghosted. Then it shouldnt show up on category as well. I can see my ads by going into the category tho. Just not appearing in search results.

In addition, I see alot of ADs (that are in the same category as I am) arent being indexed (in search results) neither. This is weird. Is craigslist going to delay each ad being shown in search results, like what kijiji is doing?

WOW. nevermind.

According to craigslist - they are having some trouble with the search function now. So the fault is on craigslist's side.

It wasn't something new.
one day you could find ads APPEARS on the listing page. but couldn't find ad through the search, and another day, you couldn't find ads APPEARS on the listing page. but could find ad through the search. ........DO NOT WORRY THAT, you ads would be fine again after few days!!!

Yeah, last night was crazy. The CE section had like 20 posts for all of Friday. Usually there are 20 posts every 10 minutes in that category on Friday.. Needless to say I lost a lot of money because of this... Not to mention time spent posting.

SOMETIMES, if you only find ads on the listing page. check your ads to see if they've been flagged already. the flagged ads could stay on the listing page little longer, but the ads'll gone from the search result almost IMMEDIATELY!!!
