so i know that craigslist is a huge website where people can place ads ??? and i know that you guys know a lot of tricks about it and some of you make a lot of money there.

but somehow i just cant figure out how this website works and why are people selling accounts and why do they need a voice approval.

sorry might be stupid questions

craigslist fucking blows. You can quote me on that.

Don't get me wrong, I've made money on it and yes my ads do stick but it's just not worth the trouble... and don't get me started on the **FUCKING** flaggers.

Plus all the people there are looking for bargains. Think about the kind of traffic you're getting.

They need voice approval (craigslist) to make sure you're not a spammer. People sell accounts cuz then you can spam away with them once you get a few. Don't even bother though.

my advice would be dont get started with cl. run...quickly in the opposite direction. I have good reason to believe that it is gonna be raining lawsuits soon. Not just for the software makers.

Yes, I was actually asking this, but is this only for people in the US?

who do you think will be targeted by the lawsuits?

I highly doubt lowly posters like us will be targetted.

Anyone with a mediocre knowledge of legal fees and the legal process understands that the prospect of individual posters being sued is miniscule. The logistics just aren't there. It would be too expensive to come after us.

on the basis that it would be too expensive, i suppose all the p2p music downloaders getting sued never really happened?

egays got money to burn, but i doubt this suing is going to happen. If you are going to f**** CL just wear a condom.

Oh so you're suggesting the American music industry (I don't remember what it is called, nor do I care) and Craigslist have equal-sized wallets?

Yeah, don't think so. Totally different animals buddy.

Look...you can bet that they are gonna make an example out of someone. They can list many different people as defendants on a lawsuit.;)

Ok, from everyones suggestion to newbies is to stay away from the now infamous CL . What alternatives to free online advertising do you Guys recommend then?

try kijjii, backpage, gumtree if your u.k

Yes...I agree about the flaggers on CL. Do they have a life? I posted several generic ads for furniture that I was selling and the majority of them got flagged for no apparent reason.
