The trailer for Craigslist Joe, Zach Galifianakis's documentary effort about living off the kindness of internet strangers, has hit the web. And it's like Eat, Pray, Love for the rent generation, except the producers have swapped cruiser bicycles for smoke-filled jalopies; gelato for street meat; and romance for "real life" [no screens involved!] friendships.
After appearing to wipe out his phone contacts and clean out his pockets, Joe Garner attempts to live exclusively off the classifieds site for 31 days.
Looks like a good movie to watch, really inspired me. His attempts to move without cash could work only in 1st world countries, where people already have a sense of understanding and some material well-being. He would face big problems outside of the USA and Europe.
Wow, I actually liked Galifianakis before I saw this.
Nice concept. Def something different. Cant wait till i see this movie...
Watched Craigslist Joe 2 weeks ago. I kindly suggest everyone on bhw watch this warm sweet flick. Much more impressing that imagined.
