Was this just done yesterday? It used to be only a USA ip works but now it looks like Craigslist changed their system and you MUST have your ip in or around the city you're posting in. That means your proxies must be LOCAL to the city you're posting to. Lol.

    Anyone else affected by this?

Nope. I'm still posting fine with my tethered cellphone and autoposter to every city.

It is not effecting me yet. I posted like 30 ads in 20 cities today and all ads posted and I just went and checked and all are still up ( Crosses Fingers and Knocks On Wood )

Yeah, what's the exact error you're getting?

edit: Also, I'm posting right this second, and everything's working.

I had no issues posting in different cities other than my own today. I think I will try again now to see if it causes me problems.

Im posting too and everthings fine, Is this another 'im jumping to conclusions too fast'. I highly doubt they would introduce this overnight or even at all, I think there traffic could take a dramatic dive if they did.

Agreed on both counts. It's probably an IP/IP range problem, most likely.

Nea I'm posting right now and I don't have any problems. They will never do something like this.

I was able to post fine outside my local area today.

What cell provider do you use? I tried posting by tethering my phone to my PC using Sprint and PDAnet. Each time I tried posting I was told I needed a PVA.

    Newbie here,

Would love to know the process for tethering your alltel phone for cl. I'm getting caught up with the entire IP, proxy ban and I need to get my business back online with CL ASAP.. I try to post roughly 200 ads per day. any and all help is greatly appreciated, You can PM if you do not want to post to board..

    Thanks in advance...

S.O.B....and after I went and got verizon on my new laptop. Grrr. Oh well. AT&T sucks out where I live anyway, and since I have PVAs and proxies, things are much easier.
