    Havent been on Craigslist in a while. I was happy to see this message on the front page of there site;

    STOP SOPA & PIPA
    HR3261 & S968 are
    threatening CL and
    the rest of your
    Internet. Most of
    the web sites you use
    strongly oppose these
    bills. Find out why, and
    how you can help put
    a stop to this madness
    before it's too late!

    More info link http://www.craigslist.org/about/SOPA

    Way to go Craigs :D

SOPA has been dropped, but we got to keep fighting. PIPA is a lot worse, so let's keep pushing.

Does anyone have a nice concise explanation of PIPA?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PROTECT_IP_Act

Establishes a system for taking down websites that the Justice Department determines to be "dedicated to infringing activities." The DoJ or the copyright owner would be able to commence a legal action against the alleged infringer and the DoJ would be allowed to demand that search engines, social networking sites and domain name services block access to the targeted site. In some cases, action could be taken to block sites without first allowing the alleged infringer to defend themselves in court.

SOPA is almost the same as PIPA. It's ludicrious.

Dont let the actions be fooled of SOPA being dropped. It is still very much alive and so is PIPA!

For supporting "stop SOPA" craigslist I won't spam your site as much as I did before, I will only post 1200 ads from now on. :D
