What is CPM ? CPM = Cost Per 1000 Impressions, right?! What does that mean? Cost per 1000 visits? For what am I paid, when I use CPM? Sorry for such a newbie question
Lets say you got 4 ad slots on your page, and a visitor hits your site and browses through 10 different pages, that counts as 40 impressions. You need induce the guy to click unlike CPC, but focus on getting a site where visitors visit at least 10+ pages. CPM alone would not be a great ide, mix up some CPC or some CPA stuff to make some good dough
Every time any page on your site with the advertisment loads that counts as in impression. CPM = Cost Per Mile . . . and suprisingly mile = 1000 in this instance.
Does this thread belong here? Is this blackhat? Seriously, refrain from seaking exposure here. Even if it's the most popular section, it's called blackhat for a reson. It isn't: Mindless Mix Of Many Fucked Up Newbie Posts Mix Mindless Mix. Think better.
Depends on company, content and location. . . US traffic can vary For example: Adult tubesites will pay very low depending on where the ad is on the page. Bottom of page may pay .15/CPM. . Better Ad locations will pay $2-$3/CPM Better networks that have their own systems like PPV charge around $.02 per impression on url targeted domains thus the user is paying $20/CPM. You gotta see what your offered by each advertiser. International traffic in Asia won't pay shit for CPM. . its all relative.
So cpm or cpc ? Lets say country tier 3 ? How much money do i get for one ads and 1000 impression(500 ip) ?
