CPM vs. CPC

    I'm new to Facebook marketing..
    I used a website and spent $40 and only received emails, a while ago.

    IT was using Apps on Facebook.

    However, now I want to use Facebook DIRECTLY. Facebook / advertising

    I saw the Lazy Autopilot Profits test, and he said he was using CPM..

    What is the difference?

    I know CPC is cost per click, and CPM is cost per thousand impressions?

    CPM costs a lot lower, but to get results from it you gotta have extremely good banners/text ads. a lot of testing

    Still a bit confused. :/

    I think I understand it.

    When people see my ad, I will be charged, but can they click it - OR is it unclickable, and it must be a banner that says, "Go to blah.com for your sample."?

    yes, they can click on it and they'll be sent to your site.

    CPM - You pay for 1000 people to see your ads whether they click or not

    CPC - You pay only when someone clicks

    You could have a lot of people click your ad using CPM but you wont be charge per click CPM is great once you know you have a winning ad

    To test if you have a winning ad go with CPC then use CPM
