That's an interesting question because I've found that the comp measurement tool in SENuke X is different than the adwords tools as well.

I am just curious which one is more accurate because It does mix up results for what niche you want to target. If MS is fetching all this from Google, I don't understand why it is producing different results.

Ive tested it nd I have to say Yes!
Even if I use the same adwords account in MS and in the KW tool
But the kw tool shows different cpc if I check it with different adwords accounts.

So the fact is the CPC depends on your Adword account! But the is data for advertisers not for publishers, but a good base.

Actually advertisers paying very diffferent amount for the clicks, based on thier quality score. So a $1 CPC can be $0.1 for ones and can be $5 for others and publishers getting a low part of this amount.

Are you logged into an actual AdWords account in MS? There's an option for that, and I'm always logged in to make sure I get first hand results from Google. However differences are always a part of the equation in this game so just try to make "an average" of the results you get from different tools.
If you're very serious about a campaign then do a little PPC because building a whole site / before creating a major PPC campaign that will suck your balance dry!

I can't believe how many people are confused by the results that MS gives...

Actually results MS and G keyword tool give are completely the same!!! You are confused because by default MS shows SEOT (SEO Traffic) which actually is "The maximum clicks a site ranked #1 could get", BUT if you activate "Total searches" above you will get another column with the same numbers that GKWT gives. The algorithm is that SEOT = Total searches divided by 2.38

Example: if GKWT/MS Total exact searches is 10K... 10,000/2.38=4,200 = SEOT = max visits a site #1 could get.

Edit: Sorry, wrong first reading of the topic title, didn't see this is about CPC, thought it's about search results.
