I'm signing up for a VPS tonight, stats:

Do I go for CPanel or Plesk? I'm used to CPanel but do not know if Plesk has any additional features.

Also, would you say that these are good stats? I'm using 30GB monthly at the moment so the 1TB seems ok and my files I host wont be more than 20MB. Is this decent stats/RAM for a site getting 50-100K hits per day?

    Get cPanel.

    I'd say that's a pretty good deal

go with CPanel! Plesk can be cranky at times, and CPanel just has so much flexibility...I am assuming that you are getting at least WHM (reseller) or even WHM-root...make 1 account for each domain, as it makes life so much easier:D

if you are only using 30gig, then you are a looooong way from using up the 1,000 you now have.

good luck on your new products

    R-

I'm going to be hosting my CS scripts so will be around 100K DB connections per day and one of my sites with a forum, I will maybe host this site (With Forum) elsewhere if it will majorly slow things down.

I run Plesk on my personal servers as it was cheaper then going with cPanel but I prefer cPanel over Plesk.

Go for cPanel/WHM it's the best. If you don't mind where did you get such an offer from? Which provider? Or is it something custom? You got to make sure that it's a comapny that's been up for a while otherwise you may fall for some company that might in the end just disapear making you lose precious business time and money.

Get Directadmin - lightweight, stable and can handle what you throw at it, beats that bloated pile of crap called cpanel :D

Use the Custombuild option and you can do what you want.
It has a lower memory footprint so is ideal for VPS operation and its about $5 tops a month!

If you do go that way and need a hand give me a shout, been using DA for a good few years now

Use cPanel if you want a shit load of your system resources to go to waste. I use webmin since its free and still pretty easy to use. But between cPanel and Plesk, chose Plesk.

I had to use plesk at work for a while and i found it a massive headache. If youve been using cpanel all along, i would stick with it. When using plesk there are little odd features and quite often the panel leads me in circles.

ServInt is a solid company. It's been around for a while now.

fatboy, I would agree that DirectAdmin is more lightweight than cPanel but the recent "VPS Optimized" version of cPanel, which is what will be installed, has some pretty significant performance increases.

Between cPanel and Plesk, I would definitely choose cPanel.
