So I have an idea for a site with a lot of content that people would want, etc. I want to monetize it using CPA gateways, and my first thought was CPALead... but then I realized you can just code a gateway (or buy a script thingy) and make your own. Is CPALead good or is it better to make my own gateway (and risk being not paid if they discover I'm incentivizing the offers)?

    CPAlead is shitty.

I would rather use GodCPA and fake the referrer. After they fill out, just redirect them to content

Hi, I initially used cpalead gate way but no much conversions. But now i am using my own gateway. Its good than before. You can integrate the offers which are incentivised. you can get it from various network which pays $1.50 to $2.25 for email submits or surveys which can be incentivised.

cpalead is good because they don't ask questions. Instead of risking a ban with other networks you can flood them with all kinds of warez, crap traffic from almost any country. With other affiliate companies, even if you do decide to use incentive offers you will have a number of problems. Email submits not converting = kick, International traffic = no convention and eventually you fill face a bunch of questions. I'm obviously taking about pushing large volumes of traffic.

i've been using cpa lead. Made a whopping $13.00 with 22 cents for some email submits. I don't really suggest it. if I could make my own gateway, I would.

I am talking from my own experience. Two affiliate companies got all pissy with me for doing just that. Don't get me wrong. I am not promoting CPAlead. Their payouts are indeed lame however according to my experience these guys are the safest for the darkest blackhat methods.

You can make it look like a getaway, just don't let them through. Rotate the offers and some idiots will sit there all day entering their email address.

Just spoke to my affiliate manager and he said that "unofficially" as long as I don't offer cash rewards for incentivized offers I can do whatever I want. So I am planning to rip the crap out of their offers and if something goes wrong I wall forward them the emails from AM.

Yes. This is the way to do it for sure..... If you really really want, you can even make your CPA gateway all pretty like CPAleads. That's the only thing I like about their gateway.

cpalead is fine - most incentive offers only pay $1 and shave and the offers change a lot

I'm at a 20% conversion ratio w/ cpalead - of course I am offering shit people really want

Im at a 20% conversion ratio with cpalead atm aswell. With varying EPC accross different countrys.

I have thought about using my own gateway but i figure its more trouble then its worth. Finding the offers, and cloaking everything up is more trouble then its worth. Also when offers expire etc or you start getting shaved to shit.

With cpalead you can throw masses of traffic with it, protecting any content. And you will never have issues. If your looking for auto income then use CPALead, since the offers are auto rotated etc.

This is pretty much exactly what I intend to do.

But how well do they pay? How much traffic does it take (assuming you have good content) to make, say, $100 a day?

On a 10% conversion rate on a $1 offer, 1000 visitors. Make a niche site with good content and expect the conversion rate to rise.

It depends. Obviously the country where the traffic is coming from is the most dependent factor. If its all US traffic then it wont take much. Worldwide traffic is a totally different ball game and will take a hell of alot more effort.

There can never be an answer to this question. Every website is different.

It will depends on your traffic quality, demographics, CTR, the offers you are given or the offers you chose to promote, the content of your page and how much these people want to get the protected content, your ad copy, the type of getaway you use (You have a choice between a bunch of designs), convention rate and current payout rate for the offers you will be promoting, long term price fluctuations in CPA offers, offer availability and so on.

    I would say 2000 to 20.000 uniques.

If I were you I would make a gateway and fake the referrer. your AM will see that you are getting WH traffic when its all BH. The earning is so much more too.

Right now im working on some stuff, but if I remember I will show some screen shots of when I had cpa lead and when I made my own gateway.

Thank you!!! Please do, that is really interesting.

And thanks everyone else for the advice as well.

Has anyone here heard of/used Blackhat Codebreaker? I know it's sold by someone on this forum, and I'm wondering how good it is for this sort of thing.
