CPA websites and SS#

    Is it safe to be giving these CPA sites your SS#, i understand the need to do it for tax purposes but is it safe, what is my risk if i do choose to do it.

    Yes, it's perfectly safe. They only ask for your SSN# for IRS tax purposes. They have to ask or they would be in big legal trouble for not telling the government who they they are giving lots of money to.

    i dont really worry about it. you could register a business and give them the business's tax id

    Yes it's safe. They have to ask for it. Just make sure they are reputable CPA companies. Do a search here or on g00gle to find the big CPA companies.
