With all these new extensions coming out... Catchy domain names will not have the same value as it was once.

You need to look from visitors point of view. Agreed that CPA is known to IMers but i feel majority of general web traffic just don't understand cpa , cpc etc and hence they may not feel like visiting such links.
Another point is .today is a new domain so not worth any premium yet.

Secure.today is currently listed there and is on $305 with 5 bids.
I'm really not familiar with domain Flipping but when I listed a decent domain there it had gotten surprisingly few views. If you wanna go with Flippa I'd try the homepage listing upgrade. Otherwise, have a look at DNForum, I'm sure there's some domainers interested in them, if only to resell on Flippa or to their clients.
