So I'm pretty new to the CPA world, but so far I've been having a decent amount of success with survey offers. A lot of them take e-mail promotions, so what I was thinking was hire someone off CL to hand out flyers asking people to sign up for local paid surveys, it would take them to a landing page(ex __insert_local_city_here_paidsurveys.com something like that) with an auto responder that when they sign up it will drip feed them a new paid survey to sign up for every couple of days. I found someone who could pass out 1000 flyers(which would probably take about a day) for $40 and I'm hoping that would bring in at least 100 people signing up to the site, do you think this is a good idea? I'm sure I'm not the first person who has thought of this, but I looked all over the site and didn't see anything yet. Has anyone tried this before and had good success? Either way I'll do it and post my results but I'm curious if anyone has any thoughts on it.

I wouldn't hand out flyers. Honestly, you won't get anywhere near 10% conversions just handing out flyers. MOST people will toss it the second they get it. Even fewer people will read it all, and even LESS people will actually care to do paid surveys. You'll need to find a better way to target people. Rather than handing out flyers - post them in high traffic areas (malls, grocery stores etc. usually have public bullitin boards).

Another thing you should do is offer some referall bonus. I really think this is one of the best ways to go about getting a lot of traffic for something like this. People are going to trust their friends more than they'll trust a flyer.

What do you think of those flyers that have little tabs on the bottom? I could put out 100 of them and each would have ten tabs, that would be the equivalent of 1000 flyers, and would take less time. Have any of you tried that before?

Good call, I'll give that a try hopefully this week and let everyone know the results. If anyone else has any suggestions feel free to let me know!
