What is the threshold for making comments on other peoples videos? Cause what I did was find 20 or so videos on the same topic that had a lot of views in the past month, and posted a comment on each one with a content locker site (also posted some type of info so it didn't look like complete spam).

Anyways, I was wondering how long I can do this until YT bans that account? It actually worked out pretty good. I posted the comments before I went to bed, and 8 hours later I made like $30.

So....how long can I keep this up for?

Continue with your mighty journey, and find out by yourself. There's no stop in the front of a man who always remembers these wise guy words: 'rinse & repeat'

If you're interested in keeping your account, you could dilute your content locker comments with pointless ones ("I lol'd" etc.) or seemingly thoughtful ones that are psychologically impossible to read through ("This video speaks to my personal Jungian journey, and I am eternally grateful to the uploader for bringing it to my attention....[continue spun ramble]"). I assume the ratio matters somewhat (YT mods might be more reluctant to ban someone with some community standing).

Take all of this with a grain of salt though, my research is somewhat lacking (read: practically nonexistant).

You are better off using a proper .com domain, but when you comment don't put 'www' in the link, and also leave a space before the com eg : youtube. com

    Hope this helps mate :)

Turns out I had to stop this as my network thought I was offering copyrighted material that was being locked by a content locker (i wasn't). I wasn't in the mood to argue with him so I said forget it. I haven't had time to mess with anything else, but you can easily change this method around to not piss off your AM very easily. I averaged about $30/day with less than 1 hour of work/day.
