Ok some years ago I started a CPA website on a warez niche. Anyway my CPA revenue was on sidebar, while basically the content on website was a 100% warez site.

Anyway, within a year I had a huge number of organic backlinks. My site went viral and I reach 1,000,000 monthly visit after one year. I earned a lot of money from this, let's be honest here.

I didn't expect so much success to be honest. But of course with so much grow... problems grow as well.

A lot of people started to complaint against me and my site on blogs/youtube/socials calling me a thief, offending me and my site in any possible way, saying my site was a cancer for society, and when I tried to talk to them they said I'm a liar and they didn't believe me. For example they didn't believe me when I said my website was on a server. They said that hosting a website cost no more than 40$ on a shared service. Yeah, just like shared hosting are able to handle 1,000,000 monthly users. When I send them the invoice of my server they said it was fake. And this were just the 1% of the rubbish things they said.

Honestly I couldn't handle so much hate and ignorance. At the same point I started to fear that my website was growing too much and I fear the possibility to go under the sight of the financial policy. So I close my website.

    The problem start now.
Now there is a guy that have rebuilt my entire website using the same brand domain (he just added a letter... my old domain still is registered and owned by me) and he is trying to identify himself as me. When someone say if the staff is the same of my old website he say yes.

But it's not. I didn't rebuilt that site. And I don't like this thing he is doing because this could lead to problems to me too. Also on my "farewall letter" I said I wasn't going to rebuild the site. So this guys is trying to make make me a liar in front of 1,000,000 people and I don't like this. Fun things is - That website actually is growing pretty fast. I tried to talk with him but he simply doesn't answer. Things went out of my control now and I really don't know what to do.

So what would you do in my siutuation? Thank you very much.

I will never start CPA project anymore, that's sure.

Yeah, God forbid you disclose a site that you're no longer using to someone offering to help you!
Stay the course OP, don't disclose anything just accept general/vague/unrelated advice.

    My general/vague/unrelated advice:
Disavow the bad backlinks in GWT, it will take a bit of time, but worth it.

I can't send PM because I don't have enough posts, and even if I was able to send PM I wouldn't do that. My domain is a useless info for the help I'm asking.I asked a way to take down that site.

Also please, keep your irony for yourself.

It isn't useless, it could be used to identify the offending site, which in turn could be used to analyze the backlinks, which could help build a plan of action.
The "nope" is dismissive and not inviting to helping a newbie, since you haven't contributed to the site, you should probably be a bit humble in getting help, and if you feel it isn't what you need, then say so, and maybe the more experienced person will explain why it might be.

    My irrelevant/general/vague advice:
    Report to google.
