I have a CPA offer from my network that goes through about 7 redirects, takes about 4.5 - 5.99 seconds to load, and then takes me to the wrong offer. I checked with Redirect Detective and it shows the progression of my affiliate link to a different offer. So it is a survey offer but it goes to an Samsung phone offer.
At first I thought maybe I had some adware on my machine but then I used that Redirect Detective thing and it showed the Samsung phones url. I also ran an adware program.

Do CPA networks do a lot of this stuff. Or am I messed up somehow?
I don't want to say their name in case it is just me that is screwed up. It is a big network, you would recognize the name.

If the offer isn't from your country I think it will redirect

Well if your in US and the offer is for Germany and you go to it. It will redirect. But if someone from Germany clicks on it they will go to the proper offer. Maybe just try and test with vpn

OK, but i am in US and the offer is for US. But it sounds like no one else is having any problems and that makes me think it is on my end.

I did and it has been at least 3 days, so I assume they think I am a dumb ass newbie, which I am. I just wondered if this is common or are the networks pretty serious about checking for fraud.

Besides the ip/country, it can be that the offer is expired and it automatically redirects to a different offer.

Also ip databases aren't 100% accurate and it can be that your US ip address is detected as Canadian for instance, which - if you use a US only offer - would explain the redirect.

I'd say fraud check has nothing to do with this. You should be able to visit your own tracking link with an appropriate ip.

If it does redirect do I get paid for that offer if the visitor completes it or do I only get paid for the original offer I signed up for. I don't want to drive traffic to someone else's offer. That would really hurt my EPC and my pride

You get paid regardless, it's not someone else's offer, it's still yours, just a different one. Maybe try to choose a different offer, which doesn't redirect.
