[SUB]I have a link at the end of a blog post that had 1000 hits today, yet the cpa network told me that my offer has no hits.
This cant be because the offer's niche is the same as the blog niche, and the blog had 1000 hits, so the cpa had to have had at least a few hits.

The link redirects to a .info that evaluates if the country is correct for the offer whcih then redirects to a tinyurl which then redircts to the offer page.

Why do you think the CPA network is not accepting the hits?

Is it because of the tinyul? Maybe because of the .info ? Contextual links ARE alloud for this offer, however social networking is not.

Thanks for the help![/SUB]

have you tested your offer yourself, with proxies and it appears as it should be?
you can just send a single click with a proxy and test if it works or not.

if no one clicks on the link there will be no hits registered at the network

I tested it with the uptrend full html load time web page and it worked(it sent it to the correct page)

when i tried with proxies i once tested to see if the redirect was working(wasnt checking if could register hits) and one of the proxies worked (forget which one though!) and all the other ones had technical issues, but im assuming the errors were the proxies fault bc one of them did work, and the uptrend html thing worked

clicks must be registered regardless traffic source, it doesn't matter at this stage, it matters when it comes to payout

i bet your (geo) redirect is off, tinyurl doesn't suppose to cause problem in itself, try it w/o redirect and start from there
on the other hand, most of the networks offer the tracking url in short format as well, so tinyurl is not really needed

I replaced the tinyurl with the real link. How do I set geo redirect to On? (im using wordpress if that changes anything)
i dont think thats the issue though because when I go to the site it redirects me away from the offer, which its supposed to, and with the html uptrends loading it brings it to the correct page, anyways if it is the issue, how do I fix it?

also if it changes anything it does register the hits i gave it from the proxy that worked

if it's the case, there should be no problem with tracking, people may not be interested

most of the networks have geo in place on their end, so you can try w/o yours for a change
all the more so, because they usually select the most appropriate country specific offers, more than likely they do a better job than you, especially if you're new to CPA and don't know the offers well

#1 NEVER use tinyurl or any other shortener on your aff links.

All you are doing is adding server congestion, dropped clicks and other issues to your whole system. Why can't you just get a free domain somewhere and use that to redirect?

#2 Why are you surprised that your CTR is low when your link is at the bottom of the page?

Sure, you got 1k visits, great. I have sites with over 20k visits/day and the CTR on the links at the bottom of the pages are less than 0.001%. I still manage to make some money from it, but that is cuz I have so much traffic. My top of the page links, however... that is a whooollle other story.

Im now using a domain to redirect. I got the banner to the top of the page instead of bottom, expecting 2k+ hits tommorow so if ts still not registering anything theres got to be a problem.
All the times of tested it and it worked, i wasnt clicking on the ad, i was just going to the site where the ad is supposed to take you. What I'm concerned about is that people are being sent to the proper site but due to the fact that im directing to a url and then to the download page, my id is somehow not being recorded for providing the hit.

If it's just a CPA offer, there is nothing wrong with clicking on your ad to see if it registers your click. Go ahead and click it, make sure you are actually being sent to the offer, and check out your stats with the network. If it's not showing up after an hour or so (depending on the network), check to make sure you have whatever redirect you have set up pointing to the correct URL (with all the correct subids, etc).

i cant click it because it only works for US and im canadian, im sure thers something rong now, 1k+ hits today on the blog, also i put a banner on the top, and still no clicks
