    Hello everyone,

I am kind of newbie to this forum. I was thinking of creating a movie site that allows visitors to view the movies only after completing a survey from a CPA company.

My question is: does adword allows you to drive traffic to such sites. Is it some sort of arbitrage opportunity?

I hope the more experienced internet marketers could help me on this.

    Thanks!

    Arbitrage? No.
Will adwords allow it. Yes. Will it cost you your a small fortune. Yes!

See, Google has developed a complicated algorithm that determines the quality of the ad and the value of the website its advertising.

So, if your site is a CPA content-blocked site, then you'll have to pay something like $0.50 per click, and that's optimistic.

No offense dietbird but you have no fucking idea. Have you honestly tried doing this?
Cpa lead has different scripts to implement on your site. If you use one of them adwords won't have any idea your content is blocked or maybe they do but they don't care.

You see dietbird I admitted I'm not sure ;-)

And yes you can be profitable with it. Paid about 7 to 10 ct a click. The money won't come flying in and it's not a noob friendly way to do it. Don't let people discourage you. It's doable allthough you should do some SEO too. Preferably a lot of it.

Sry for the flame dietbird have my pissy daytoday

Actually, now that I think about it, you may actually be right.

Adwords hates sites than redirect you to 100 different places and you can't leave them with a simple click of the Back button.

CPA*l3ad is a different ball game, obviously, but I'm not 100% sure, I've never tried this personally.

If you (@killahbee) have tried it personally, then I take your word for it that I'm mistaken.

I was passing second hand information that I wasn't sure about, and I'm sorry about that.

Movie sites are quite profitable, especially if you beat other sites to the punch and have a stream of the big movie that just came out.

Like for example, before the new twilight came out, I knew I needed to make a site and get it ready to throw the stream on there for the big day. I got caught up in other work and never got around to it. I could of made me some good loot from that.

If you can do both it would be best :D

Movies are more long term. TV Shows bring 85% of their profit for 3-4 days after they've been released.

Movies, on the other hand, can bring you profit for a longer period of time.

I personally do both at the moment, and the majority of my traffic comes from Sidereel and Yidio. I probably have more than 20 TV Shows on my website.

Movies, at least to me, are harder to advertise.

But, most of the time, when people come to see the latest episode of, say, House, they take a look at the site and might watch some of the new movies.

So, it's best to do both - tv shows for the easy traffic and movies for the extra income ;)

I think it would be hard to make your money back. You would be paying $0.50 a click and making $1.50 only 10% of the time (20% at best) since it is incent.

hey dude great post, glad to find someone who has one of these sites, have a question for you. which is the best script for a movie site, I found 2 i want to buy, one is scriptacula.com and the other is moviesitepress.com any opinion on these? or is there something better?

Also i got the idea from a site i like to watch but they dont require CPA to watch, so the question is will the CPA leads turn people off, or will it not mater due to the income? and lastly i've seen a few of these site stating they make like $3,000 a month from CPA, any way that's true?

thanks any input would be great as i cant decide which online business to run with as a noob:cool2:
