Good luck on your journey mate, just saying that you should also focus on long tail keyword, low competition and easy to rank, a bunch of them will bring you decent amount of traffic as well. dont miss them.

EMD'S are still ranking well if you keep your plan simple.

Have a good site structure, update content regularly (once in 10 days).

Social signals are very important nowadays so if you have a G+ Page, twitter , facebook, rebelmouse pages, it really helps.

Huh, I've lost my main source of income this week (domain got banned by public domain registry). I'll try to rank again in that niche.

What I was doing these days:


I'll try to get one of my real life friends to work with me, will be easier and faster to do tests and find out which scheme works the best.
I found few more niches (even bought domains) but I won't do anything else till I finish those I have ready atm.

Yea, I'm doing kw research before I decide to go for it. Using LongTailPro and market samurai for that and also I'm checking comp manually. So those kws are in pretty low competition.

Well I'm trying to rank small websites with just home page + about us, contact, faq pages. And yea I'm aware of that social signals play big role nowdays. Saw websites with really low number of backlinks ranking well but with 1k+ on G+/fb/Twitter etc.

Wow! Great keywords research for 33K & 110K low & medium. I've never researched over 3K for low competition.
