Need a little assistance from you experienced CPA masters. I'm looking at my first try at CPA and am going to start small to get my feet wet. I am going to start with the Minute Workers website offering $.30 to fill out a survey that pays $1.66. It is an incentive accepted offer. My question is: since this is an incent type offer, do I need to mix in junk traffic to dilute the CTR? Would I be punished for just using the Minute Workers without any other traffic? And if you have any other suggestions for me, I would really appreciate any help offered.

    Hey iron,

I always add junk traffic to ANY offer I run in order to raise my CTR and lower my EPC's (whether incent is allowed or not). The reason for this is that I've caught many of the advertisers scrubbing leads even when sending them totally legit traffic that they like the quality of. There are many other reasons (such as their budget as an example) that will make them put a scrub on legit publishers leads.

One thing I've personally been able to prove is that by bringing my EPC's down to "industry norms" I'm suddenly being credited with the leads I am expecting from my already opyimized campaigns (campaigns that I have months of stats and know exactly how they should be performing). I've had this happen with a number of advertisers so I always cover this issue with junk traffic (trafficholder.com for example) to weed out advertiser scrubbing as a possibility for low conversions. Just some things to think about.

Hopefully someone else will pop in here regarding Minuteworkers specifically because I'm not running that method. It would be considered "cash incentive" though which I know a lot of incent offers don't allow. You'll want to ask your AM if cash incents are allowed if you want to play it safe.

Shaving by the network is also a big issue which in my case doesn't come into play because I'm good friends with the network manager that I send most of my traffic to.

    Good luck man

    redtide1969,

You know it's really interesting, my friend. I was thinking about you when I posted this and figured if anyone would add a comment it would be you. As always, you've been very helpful. I really appreciate your willingness to help out when you can. Thanks so much. Definitely some things to look at. And I'll be putting all that into what I have planned.

    Regards,

    @ iron,

No problem my friend, hope some of it helps :wavey:

I always like to err on the side of caution to guarentee my payouts so I would confirm whether the cash incent is allowed or not with your network (unless you're covering your tracks well). ;)

    Best of luck as always!

    @ jokerz

I'm not running ads on my LP's, but yeah, some of the traffic does click through to the offer page I'm promoting. I'm running it through Prosper202 so as soon as the fake hit is generated it counts on the CPA network side of things as a click to the offer page (whether the fake traffic has actually clicked through or not).

    If that makes sense ;)

    Hello,

Just a note.... Microworkers have peerfly staff monitoring that website, my buddy tried that site and got his account banned within 2 min. of posting a job on there and when he asked why he got banned they said because he had used that site.
