I have a way of getting a ton of insurance leads. These are legit leads but they are inbound phone leads. I was wondering if CPA companies allowed you to take these phone leads and enter the person interested in getting a quotes information into your affiliate site. Of coarse these leads would all be coming from the same IP even though they are legit. Has anyone done anything like this before?

It will likely be alright so long as you clear it with your AM.

But why not cut out the middle man? Take a course for a week or 2 and become an insurance agent. Then you can grab the quotes directly from the companies and get a very large commission from the sales instead of whatever regurgitated chicken scratch the CPA company is offering you. You're essentially filling the role of an insurance agent here.

Well if the CPA company gives me $70 for a quote no credit card required (this is an offer one gives) I figure it would be much easier to get ppl to give me their name and address for $70 then to sell insurance and get credit card info. Besides I wouldn't do this myself it's something I would outsource. Might try it first to make sure it works though.

hire a telemarketer based on performance and talk to some insurance companies. you'll bank in no time

In that case, the general rule for 99% of "is this okay for CPA?" questions probably applies:

If the leads back out for the advertiser and they profit, then yes it is okay.

If the leads don't back out for the advertiser and they lose money then no it is not okay.

If you're not incentivizing the leads or otherwise pulling some black hat magic to get these people signed up then just show your lander and explain your method to your AM. Do this over the phone. 99% they'll be okay with it.

The only problem is the telemarketer has to be a licensed agent to sell insurance over the phone. It's not a hard credential to get but usually they expect about $15/hr minimum. You could probably get away with 9 an hour letting them work at home, but you'd need good controls in place to make sure they stay productive.
