Hello everyone I have a rather large list of emails I'd like to blast to, I dont have any information on the list other than name, location and email and am wondering what type of offer would be best to send their way. I was thinking either dating or weightloss? also, i'm located in the US so can i get in trouble for blasting them (i will include and unsubscribe button, but their emails were scraped so they didn't really opt-in to this first email)

    thanks!

sorry for the question, but why do you want to blast the list?
seems that you don't know anything about email marketing/email spam.
and even your list sounds shitty from what you write.
you say it's a scraped list.
so are you sure it's clean or are there honeypots in the list maybe?
considering all that i wouldn't send anything to the list if i were you.
because for email spam you can get into serious trouble if you don't know what you do...

your right, i dont know much about email marketing but would definitely like to dabble in it and try promoting an offer of some sort. i can only get better right? maybe its a shitty list, maybe not but that doesn't bother me as i'm only trying to learn, what would bother me though is violating some type of law and getting in to trouble, although i just read through all the can-spam stuff and it seems as long as you follow the rules you can send an unsolicited email.

you said you know locations , find keywords related with cpa offers they search for and
blast for emails according to location ........ e.g for the keyword "free ipad" most US searches come from Hawaii , New jeresy , and south CA ...........

that last part doesn't seem right. my understanding is that sending unsolicited email is what is specifically against their rules :)

as previously stated be sure to scrub for honeypot addresses, maybe even through multiple honeypot lists. spamming has pretty serious consequences in the states so if you decide to do this i recommend paying for one if not multiple servers in blackhat friendly countries to run as your own proxy network

i'd also still send through a rotating proxy list from the last server node and consider rotating (cancel/repurchase with different provider) the proxy server network on a regular (maybe monthly?) basis to constantly cover your tracks

i've never run spam campaigns but this is would be part of my approach. my opinion is you can never be too cautious or cheap when the risks include time in prison
