    Hi,

So I played with some CPA techniques discussed on the forums here. I'm getting clicks but I do not get any sale/email submit whatsoever. What I do is I upload Youtube videos that might get viral (1/5 gets decent amount of views) and monetize them with Adsense if possible. If Adsense gets blocked because of third party content etc I try to monetize it via the CPA links. I place an annotation in the video itself that stays on for about 10 sec that points to the description of the video where the CPA link is located.

What I see in my CPA campaigns is that I get around 100 clicks but I do not get any conversions whatsoever. The videos I upload are not in a specific area (humour, fail, amazing, nature miracles etc) so I now try to use the top US email submit campaigns my CPA company offers (most of you will know the "get coca cola free for a year, win beyoncé perfume, win an ipad" etc). I disguise the CPA links with tinyurl I hope this is not the reason I'm missing something (CPA companies not counting tinyurl links ?)

Any help or tips are welcome to get some conversions because now I only get decent money with Adsense if a video gets lucky and gets a lot of views.

    cheers

No, you're not missing anything because of shortening your links via tinyurl.

What you need is offers related to the video you have uploaded. What I recommend you doing is set a GEO script on your website and redirect your traffic to offers that way so you are not leaving money on the table.

It is very hard to sell to people that are coming to youtube to watch entertainment. Try a niche in which people are looking for something. Typical are software cracks, game hacks, diet recipes, etc. Just find your own.

tinyurl is just a shortener, and as long as you place correctly your real cpa offer link in it, all will be tracked properly.. You see clicks, so everything is tracking correctly.. The problem is elsewhere are already been adviced!

have you tried content locking? It may increase your CPA earnings and works very good with YT traffic

You can expect a very low conversion rate with this. try and search for offers directly related to the videos.

Ok so this is not going to work with videos in mixed categories, now I'm only using the email/zip submits. So jailbreak videos etc with a content locker is more the way to go. Thank you for the tips so far !
