I am sending traffic straight to my CPA offers via my affiliate links. Do I need to send traffic to a website that also displays the CPA offers in order to increase my impressions and thus reduce my CTR?

Thank you, although it was not what I asked. If I blank all my traffic isn't that going to look as suspicious as not blanking it? Surely any CPA affiliate is going to want to see some referrals?

No that's the opposite of what they think. If you want to look legit blank it all.

Thank you Wealthy199, I am disguising most of my traffic by simply not posting the full url, which means that the url has to be typed in. What do you think to that? Is there a better way, i.e. double meta refresh?

Also, do you have any views on my original query - i.e. do I need to send out a load of fake traffic to lower the CTR?

It all depends on a range of factors, do you think you'll get a higher response rate if you have people click a link and do a double meta or type it in manually themselves?

As for your original question, you shouldn't need to worry about impressions as long as your method of promotion is valid (might be best to talk to your affiliate manager about it).

P.S. Moved thread to the CPA section.

if you getting a hight ctr to lead-- then minimize that by using findology to throw junk traffic directly at the offer link using a double meta refresh,

You have to blank referer!!

even with my white hat i now throw junk traffic( slowly) just so it dnt become an issue later on..

as i bagan getin emails from networks askin me to suspend campaigns- my legit ones!

fuck knows why!

No. I think there is less traffic by typing in manually but I like to do it that way because it gets me in under the radar when I am spa.......er.......advertising.

Heh, depends what you mean by 'valid' - this is Blackhatworld.
