    Hi there,
I've tried to learn as much as I could this week about CPA, and this is what I've learned. I'd like to know if I'm in goin' in the good direction or not!:D
So really any constructive critisism would be great :)

    CPA - Getting accepted
I went for MaxBounty as my CPA, and after reading some of the posts here I got my anwsers prepared, got called and accepted. So far so good right?

    Promoting their offers

So this is the hard part. I've learned that there are several ways to do this.
I tried to focus on one method; the Craiglist method.
This is how I understand it:

-Make an ad on whatever you're promoting - lets say free stuff - like this:
"Giving away my xbox 360 because my son doesn't play it anymore" ( I know this is real bad but I just want to give a quick example )
These ads can be either picture ads (where you use paint or something) so your ad won't get flagged immediatly, or normal text ads.

-People then e-mail me saying that they want it. I now respond to them with something like this "Oh man, it's already taken! But I found a site <affiliate link> where they give out these things like candy! My friend said he got it from here, so you might wanna check it out"

-They then go and do the whole e-mail submit or whatever it is and I get the leads and get payed.

But the aff link is a problem for me. It's kinda complicated; am I supposed to get my own domain? But then, how do I get them to the actual landing page? I've read some things about cloaking and hiding the referrer, but it's all bits and pieces and I can't make a whole picture of it.

This is how I 'understand' it, I hope I'm not asking to much've stupid questions.. Like I said, a point in the right direction would be great

    Thanks:)

I don't use this method and I don't plan on using it, but is there anything wrong with sending this person who's interested in your free item a direct link to the offer?

    Just curious. :)

Use tinyurl or w/e to shorten the link :)

And you're right. I'm taking a big step and off I go (atleast I hope:rolleyes:)

So if I would build a landing page - wouldn't that just be a nice looking page with some info etc and then still a link to the offer? I'm missing positive I'm missing something here, because then there wouldn't be a point in building one.. Gonna search some more and try to find my anwser :)

    Edit ; found my anwser:

    (quote from another member):
    "
Just make a landing page and put similar content on it like the merchants landing page. I use a Wordpress static page for my landing pages and Google loves them. Put a call to action with your affiliate link cloaked of course. You can use a php redirect to cloak your affiliate link or make an out folder with a meta refresh to your affiliate link. I just rewrite the words the merchant uses on their landing page just like rewriting an article. "

    Have no idea really ;)
    Allright, thanks for the tip:)
