...instead of making your own buffer?

Say if you wrote some quality comments on blogs and got them posted then just started blasting the shit out of the url where your link is located.

Wouldn't this do just the same as making your own web2.0?

Sure the link could go down if they delete the comment but so could a web 2.0.

It would still pass linkjuice the same way right?

Or are squidoo pages etc. more valuable cos they have more pr than some random blog?

The problem is, the amount of other links on that page. Thats how it's dissimilar as on your web 2.0 there would only be 1 or 2 outbound links.

Ah right, is that to do with linkjuice getting 'diluted' among the other links? Think I was reading something about that recently.

Still alot of blogs I've got my comments on- the quality ones that is, not the spammed autoapprover types :D having often no other comments- actually having said that I guess that have other outbound links.

Yeh I mean if you do have a really good comment somewhere where there's no spam, a few comments and not many links then yeh sure build some links to it, why not! But yes not only will you be diluted with the other sites in any of the other comments but just generally all of the other outbound links that may be on that page, such as their web design company etc.

Hopefully whoever has created the blog is backlinking his own pages, doing the work for you.

But if you want to help him out, you can blast some more SB backlinks to your previous comments. But they help his page and all of the other people that commented as well.

Well it depends efwebs, as a lot of the decent non-spammed blogs are doing SEO constantly. They just have some good links with some other trustworthy sources so their content is valued more by Google. Especially if there is a lot of quality content on their too.

But yeh backlinking can never harm it, especially if your using similar anchor texts to really target the same part of your niche.
