I'm a complete noob so sorry if this sounds silly.

There are a few Fiverr gigs that offer services such as "4000 YouTube views for $5" or "1000 Facebook likes for $5." They sell reasonably well and there's one YouTube view gig with over 500 sales, which is, for someone like me a nice amount of money. I recently came across websites that offer the above services for a bit cheaper, for example 4000 YouTube views for $4, which I can re-sell on Fiverr as 4000 for $5. I was wondering if this is possible and whether anyone has ever tried it? I understand that the profit margin is tiny but you aren't doing much work for it. All you do is wait for someone to buy your gig, go to website x and buy that service for cheaper and you're done. Could this work? Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Of course it can, a ton of people do it. you can easily increase your profit margins also.
    Good luck with this

Actually Fiverr sellers get only $4 out of the $5 the buyers spend, $1 goes to Fiverr after every order.

Arbitrage will never cease to work. You just need to buy something which is in demand from trusted sellers (this is an important part) and sell it for a profit elsewhere. This is basically what you're planning to do, you just need to rethink your tactic a bit (either find higher amount of views for the same price or the same amount of views for cheaper). You'll only break even, if you buy the service for $4, because that's exactly what you'll get for an order on Fiverr.

It can work, but if I was you I would make arbitrage between fiverr and seoclerk, or between fiverr and freelancer.

Will definitely look into it, turns out many people are doing this and I often see gigs on Fiverr that are clearly not performed by the person who posts them. Its one lazy (but possibly lucrative) way of making money.
