Paypal just told me that I couldn't link a paypal account to an offshore bank account, because I have to live in the country where my business is. However I have a partner who said that he could link them together.

Can somebody tell me if this is possible?

If you have nominee director, you can put there his/her name. If you have company written to yourself, then you have a problem.

btw: moneybookers are much more friendly in this... dunno why you people use Gaypal.

If you set up an off shore maildrop, you have an offshore address. If you then order one of those European debit cards with a bank account attached, conceivably that account could be linked to a stealth foreign PP.

I know but many use paypal only. Can somebody confirm that registering the PP account on the nominee directors name works? What if they see that I am accessing my PP account from an EU IP and the company is non EU?

    Hi.
Just saw your PM. I can't PM you, so just quickly... IP thing doesn't matter as far as I know.
PP needs person living in the same country as your company. Nominee director will have to provide personal info, proof of adress... nothing unusual. Just make sure he doesn't "own" PP account already. They will shut them down all.

This is the simplest way I know, becouse you don't have to open extra bank accounts or whatever. I don't have personal experience, but my friend had the same problem last year. He found this way on one "offshore solutions" related forum.
