Networks can shave any amount of traffic, off any offer, you can't really prevent them from doing this, although if your friendly with your affilate rep / manager, I'm sure they won't shave you traffic too badly, if they do at all. :)

Because, they dont report it all. By tracking i assume you mean postbacks?

They just wont send the postback. Happens all the time for me, people say they completed an offer but never got credited on their account.

Hmm i guess your right, still at least I wont be sending incentives for nothing if the post backs dont come in, that was my only worry because I would end up loosing some money... thanks mate.

Networks can and do shave all their offers. It's just the name of the game everybody has to make money. You can even the playing field by sending some blackhat traffic.

DISCAIMER: The below information is not legal advice, nor should it be used as such. Always seek professional legal counsel from a qualified lawyer or attorney before doing anything.

The answer is, yes, they most likely will shave as much as they can without it looking obvious, although there IS a way to prove they are doing so with your incentivized leads, if you are willing to do what it takes to expose it:

    - Since the leads are allowed to be incentivized, you could create an incentivized landing page/site and get some people you know who actually want to fill out the offer and have them print screen the post-submit offer and the page they get after they fill the offer out which will say "thank you! your offer has been submited to xyz company, etc, etc", as well as have them videotape the entire process.

    - There is nothing wrong with having people you know fill out the offer if they are genuinely interested in the offer. Thats not blackhat or forbidden. Its incentivized and they want what the offer has to offer. Get it? You are not breaking any rules, unless described otherwise by your aff company's TOS. That is a legitmate lead and the aff company cannot say otherwise. It would also probably be a good idea to have more than one video of one person, as this would be more solid proof to a jury that you were getting stiffed on your deserved earnings.

Now I have not done this, but common sense tells me that if you are willing to do the work required, this is very solid evidence that you could use if need be that a company is commiting fraud against you by scrubbing your legitmate leads.

    Hope this helps someone, somehow.

    Regards,

    GS

I think you guys are missing the point of his post. More then like OP is using something like FSRevolution etc. Where postbacks are used. What he is more or less looking for is whether the network will send a postback, but not credit him. Which is unlikely to happen. If anything what i have seen is the opposite, the network credit me but the postback gets lost in the tubes of the internet.
