Could anyone explain to me why people always say go by your engagement cost when doing PPE ads? I never really did PPE ads and get 0.03 cents but my CPC link cost is $2.00. I had two people click on this ad and spend $4.03. I was told to go the PPE route because I have a viral product that I'm selling for 6.95 and people buy them in bulk. Any suggestions?

I sold lots of t-shirts running PPE ads but it didn't work well with other products that I was promoting.

After my t-shirt campaigns died down, I only used PPE ads for testing interest and getting some hype around my product before turning them into a conversion campaign.

If you can't break even with your ad costs, there's no point in drowning more money into that campaign.

Thanks. I'm losing money on the adset but getting massive shares. Sales are coming in but I don't know where they are coming from. Should I be looking at CPC link for PPE ads? Also, for a $6.95 retail product that goes viral could WC ads work since most customer will buy 3 or more. The product cost me a penny to get. Margins are good but what is my best bet for advertising. Thanks again!

Did you install a pixel onto your site? If yes, then you'll be able to see which campaigns are bringing in the conversions.

If your bringing in steady sales then yes, WC would be wise to test.

Yeah, the pixel is set up. However, FB doesn't count shares as conversions. I just don't see people promoting $6.95 items because of FB cost. If they do it's probably PPE ads to make it go viral. I find PPE ads cost more money for the CPC link. FYI this pixel is very seasoned. Thanks

Would anybody know a good UTM tracking tool to keep track of share conversions that FB don't record? Thanks
