Microsoft bought corp.com domain for 1.7 million dollars. why you didn't buy it when it was available?

corp.com sound like something that can compete with SpaceX.

Apart from the fact that it's short, it's not a very nice domain anyway. It might be worth 1.7M today to Microsoft, but if I wasn't "sleeping" when it was available, I'd be buying something different, and better.
