I think the whole world is trying best to make a vaccine and I think they will get success as well.
They are just trying there best and once a vaccine is discovered, everything will be back to normal.

There are some infos/rumors there have been developed several candidates already but the testings required are vigorous and take a lot of time, so at the earliest it will be available publicly is the next year. The procedure of developing a viral vaccine is not that complex, you need isolated virus culture and an effective way to weaken and kill the large part of them while preserving their dna/rna structure and/or recreating it and its protein in an agent and the vaccine is theoretically finished on stage 1.
The hard part is isolating the virus and then doing the endless amount of tests and monitoring to make sure it's safe and effective for public use.

I think it will for 6 months or a year. And maybe we'll see some longer term shifts.

But, overall I do sense that we will be back to the status quo eventually.

I predict IMers who can work from home end up escaping infection while it ends up affecting 50-90% of the world population.
