Hi all, I've had a copyright strike on a music track that I've uploaded. I don't own the copyright, so it's my bad .. but I think the claimant might be fake & is just targeting my channel. I had a similar fake claim made against my channel last month, some guy made up a false ID / Email, claimed to be a big-shot record producer & I got a copyright strike.. in the end, I filed a counter claim & got the strike removed, but now it's happened again. The info that YouTube has given me is this: Claimant: Cyber Servers Claimant Email: (Oops, just realized I can't type the email link, but it's): DMCA (fat) Cyberserversonline (dom) .. kind of :> It all sounds legit & scary, but `Cyber Servers & Cyberserversonline' don't seem to have a footprint on the web, apart from the usual domain registering info sites. I would have thought that if they did handle copyright matters for a record company there would be some mention of them, but there's no trace .. which makes me suspicious. I would like to file a counter claim, but first I need to be certain that it really is a scam. Any advice on how I can do a check on Cyber Servers & Cyberserversonline to see if they're legit or not? Thanks for any help. Fuzzy.
