copying my own content web and youtube, hurt seo?

    hi all,

    i made a website related to review and amazon affiliate earning $.
    i wanna make some youtube videos on that as well and wondering if i copy and paste these content to my youtube description will that hurt seo? ( copying my own content? )

    pls advise thanks.

    If you will use the same content then you won't gain anything.Get it rewritten or write fresh content but make sure the content must be SEO optimized with keywords so that you can get ranking easily.

    There's certainly the chance for cannibalization if you're using the same content. I imagine the only advice you're going to get is re-write your stuff for different platforms in a natural way.

    You can always put "Source: http:// yoursite(dotcom)/ originalposturl" at the end of your copied texts to point to the original, that's the safe way to do it

    You can get content re-written for pretty cheap. I can't imagine your worrying about more then a few thousand words. Spending the extra money is worth it in my opinion.

    That will cause duplicate content issues for you.
    You'd better create a new YouTube description that gives an overview of the video content and contains relevant keywords.
    You can also embed your video on individual pages, add brief summary and transcribe the video on the page of your website.
