Copy content from major sites like Bloomberg, Yahoo, New York Times, etc. and then paste the articles on a professionally-made WordPress blog. Then submit your blog and article links to various social bookmark services. Most people won't know the difference and then you will get a a lto of links. When you get link juice you can just white-out the articles but keep the links up anyway, to avoid potential copyright problems.

I'm honestly not sure if this works. If I were to do this, I'd be linking back to or using rel=canonical to the original source.

I think better strategy would be creating your own evergreen content.

Yeah you can do this, but just remember that even you delete articles, google may have them indexed for some time, and anyone can see that you copied articles. Once I changed one of my site and after 2 months I still could see the copy of my old page in google history.

You might get away if this in the short-term, but eventually you will likely be exposed one way or the other - especially stealing content off such notable sites.
