I am sure a lot of people are always asking on here about how to go about selling copied/illegal non-legit software on eBay, and being new to it and knowing its a huge but highly monitored section of eBay which is quite dangerous, I was wondering if people who are doing well with it had any advice on starters on how not to get owned selling.

(I have searched for similar threads but haven't found anything for whatever reason btw)

The hardest part about software is that the companies that own the rights are usually very aggressive in defending their intellectual property. Therefore, most software is very high risk, and will get taken down unless you have their permission.

Basically if they catch on that it is not some house hold sell and they know your doing it
commercially their going to really come after your listings and it will most likely end in a suspension.

you remind me ol'good days. days of selling MSDN Softwares + Keys.
it's hit n run so not long term.
Account will be suspended but in most case i had my money safe in paypal
as i use to transfer all the funds to my main account and it was working that way.

btw, this was 2-3 years back. :p

Sigh... I am in the same shoes as most people on here... a university grad student looking to make some money with my free time in this otherwise shit economy..
BH Methods are the only way to generate enough income in the shortrun for me.

I guess this is just too good to be true trying to get away with it. :(

If anyone can catch me up to speed/help me out with anything that I could do please let me know!

I understand the difficulty and have been doing pretty good with eBay. Trick is to find good suppliers and
learn how to list them right. Lets talk and brainstorm together. I enjoy talking about business and eBay.

Added ya, I think we both have similar interests to at least talk about! :)

Avoid ebay in this case and advertise it on Craigslist. You might get responses from interested buyers. Worst case, you don't get any business and you spent the same amount of time as you would have advertising on ebay. Also, try advertising on fiverr that you find the cheapest price with best customer service combo on whatever software you have... and then work it out from there with the fiverr customers. Good luck.

Well, you made a nice post. I agree with you and personally I never would do anything non-legit.
