    Hello dear BHW members,

I've started this website about 4 months ago with the hopes of selling it once it can sell for enough money for me to start ppc, it's a scholarship website with a good domain name i believe. It gets an average of 500 daily visits with the most being 2k+ and i have a FB page dedicated to it with 25k likes and they are all real people following the page. The most i've changed the design and adsense ad placements yesterday and today is my best earning day yet with 3.5 euros but i've got to say that i'm no expert in monetizing websites since this is my first one and i'm still learning.

    http://www.chances4.me/

So basically i just want your opinion guys on whether you think i should sell it and start with ppc (keep in mind that i don't any experience with it so i'll probably lose a lot of money when starting out) or maybe it has some potential in the long run and i should stick with it and just invest whatever money i earn in learning and working with ppc.

I got a feeling that the post is a bit unorganized but i just had a lot of things to say and i didn't want to make it a long one.

    Thanks everyone in advance

Don't give up 4 months is nothing. People are investing years in sites, before they see any investment back.
Work hard on it for at least a year before you decide to give up on it.

Well i don't really mean give up on the site, i just want to know if it would be more profitable to sell it now and invest in ppc or just stick with it and invest whatever i make from it in ppc.

And thanks by the way :)

I know it does and i don't wanna dump it, i just wanna know if maybe it would be more profitable to sell it now and do ppc. I personally don't want to sell it, especially now but i just wanted to get more opinions.

PPC is similar to stock market. You need a lot of experience in order to make it profitable else you can burn a lot of money quickly. I wouldn't risk the site to jump on PPC. Think from a student's point of view and look around the forums in your niche and see what the students are looking for when it comes to scholarships from other countries. Improve the value to your posts by posting a detailed article about the process/experiences/how-to's. It'll get you more traffic and more CTR.

Usually people are pricing the site with this formula: monthly revenue x 10 = site price tag
If you are making $100 a month your site worth is $1k, so it up to you to see if the site is worth selling or not.

Yeah well based on that, i don't think 1k is gonna be enough for me to go through the learning process and have something left to invest properly.

    Thanks, i really appreciate it

PPC is a risky business, do not sell your website for PPC if you have no experience. Just start with low budgets, get some vouchers, make some tests, see what works for you. And keep the website, you don't want to rely on a single source of income.
