Hi everyone

I have been reading on all this tools as I am interested in buying one and start to make auto updating blogs that would give my sites links.

I would use the tool to index and rank cloaked domains.

I have read and read but can't make up my mind which one to for.
Could someone that has experience with any of them write a couple of lines what they think?

Would appreciate it very much.

Whats looks to be most attractive is blogsolution because I would not need to install the blogs separately, but it also seems to be alot of both negative and positive opinions on this solution.

Is anyone using blogsolution right now?

So no one can give any advice about this softwares?
Also I am planning to buy one and I never install nulled software on my server so I can't just take the once that are available here.
Thats why I need and can't try my self.

get blogspammer if u got a little cash to spend if not get wp mass installer it's already shared on here just search for wp mass installer

Blogslammer unfortunately does not support a big list of URLs with anchor to add randomly links from after each post or inside the post.

It supports only one link or couple that I add manually.

Also I need something that I can setup and forget.
Continue to next as to speak.

And the mass installer I believe is only for mass installing the blogs not to populate them.

I would go with blogslammer [check bst here] there are several wordpress mu clubs forming, including the one blogslammer is running that will ensure your blogs stay around awhile.

I am kind of biased as I have blogslammer and have not fully checked out contentfarmer. [member here also]

I purchased rss2blog, have not gotten it to work. It has been a pain in the ass. I may be able to get it now as I have learned a hell of a lot since I last tried.

With that said, I still say Blogslammer is the way to go

Please read what I wrote about blogslammer just before your post.

As I am indexing Cloaked domains, I need it to put random links with correct anchor on each post.

I have anywhere from 200-2000 separate links / domain.

That is the reason blogslammer won't work for me.

Blogsolution will get your sites indexed into the search engines but very little more
I have two domins runing this script with all its bugs and probems
go to the members downloads and try it but i would not spend a lot of time on it

Ok thanks

I went and bought Contentfarmer

Seems to be a good script.

Very good communication and clean looking software I must say.
I give Jeremy a 5 out of 5 when it comes to fast and good communication.

I can't off course say how good the software is as I was just able to setup the software on my server.
Now I need to figure it out.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help.

RSS2Blog was once a great piece of software, however it has not been updated in quite a while and since WP 2.3 it seems to have compatibility issues with some WP Installs

As for Blog Solution, I don't have the latest version but with earlier versions it did leave a very large footprint if you did not edit the templates completely

I don't know anything about ContentFarmer, although I have heard great things. Apparently it is extremely powerful and is updated fairly regularly. I would buy it, except for the fact that lately I have bought so much crap software, I am a little gun shy

I know the feeling.

But I think I went with the correct software here.

Will report back in a week or so for those that are interested.

keen to hear your thoughts, cf can post to joomla cant it?

kandor, are you using this in conjunction w/mass blog creation software? Also, have you found it just as easy to set it up to post to existing sites (I'm interested in the Joomla aspect as well) compared to new sites/blogs? Thanks.

I have been playing with this software now almost 2 days.

I am quiet impressed.
Somethings that I yet don't understand in it but I am sure that I will in couple of more days of use.

So far I have only tried it with wordpress.
And no I don't use any mass installer, I use simply Fantastico in Cpanel to install wordpress, and on my own server I have tried on my old blogs as well.

You give the software username and password, then you ask it to get the category list.
And choose category to send to.

I would have like the software to be able to create categories, but it seems like it does not.

Also I would have liked the software to remove all hyperlinks the feeds it reads, but I have not been able to figure this out yet, if it is possible or not.

Will report back again in couple of days.

Hey kandor,

Any update of your experiences with Content Farmer?

If you want to make a steady income from blogs than plan for long term. Go for the automation which u are more comfortable with. build ip one then automate it and test the results before going for another.

thanks

I am interested in your feedback on Content Farmer, I have been using BlogSolution for a long time and as long as you take the time to modify the templates and set it to auto-update SLOWLY, you can get good results with it.

I don't know how I missed this thread for this long!

Thanks for the suggestions. I agree that those are nice features and will slate them for an update. I'm not sure, however, if the WP XML-RPC engine supports creating categories as it's been a long time since I worked with the protocol, but if it does, I'll add that.

If you have any specific questions about CF, please feel free to contact me directly. I am more than happy to help.

As for those who are wary about buying crap software, please note that CF comes with an UNCONDITIONAL 30-day money back guarantee. In the rare times people have asked for a refund, I have refunded immediately and then asked why afterwards (in case there's something about the software which could be better). I honor this religiously.

Also, there is a $100 discount for BHW members who have been members for 2-3 months or have a decent number of contributive posts (the restriction is so that people aren't joining for the sake of getting the discount [yes, that was a problem and, no, I don't make exceptions even if you tell me that you promise you didn't join just for the discount :( ]) To get the discounted price, you'll need to PM me to get a discount code. The code is changed periodically to ensure it doesn't just get passed around, so you'll need to ask around the time you're thinking of buying.

Again, I am always happy to field questions via PM or email, so please ask. :)

And, for CF Pro owners, please remember that I am "just" a programmer who barely uses his own software. Just about every feature added was the specific request of an owner. I can't possibly get away from programming long enough to stay on top of every technique, so please email them to me.

Software work like a charm.

I had some issues with my server and this software, but the author fixed all the issues by adding new updates.

He worked a couple of days with just fixing thing to work better for my needs.

The support alone that you will receive is alot more worth than the price of the software.

I have still not tried it with Joomla page.
But will do it soon as I am starting a new project that is going to need a lot of pages and if they are diversified in different platforms its a definitive plus.

Software works as advertised, and very clean and understandable interface.

If you have any other questions, please ask and I will try to answer.

One of the projects I have is posting coupons to my wp and twitter. When posting my link on wp is not clickable. This is probably a wp issue. Do you know how to fix it?
